Brian Levchuk (Branford, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus baseball team has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the league office on Monday night.

Levchuk finished the week 2-0 for the Falcons with wins over Norwich and Emerson in GNAC play. The sophomore threw 6.1 innings for the Falcons in their 9-3 victory over Norwich on April 11. Levchuk gave up eight hits and two earned runs, while striking out a season-high eight batters in his eighth outing of the season.

In Sunday's 6-1 victory over Emerson, Levchuk threw a complete game, his second of the season, as he allowed just four hits and one unearned run. He also struck out four.

Levchuk and the Falcons will host Purchase on Tuesday night in a 6:00 p.m. non-conference ballgame at Quigley Stadium.
