Winthrop, Mass. - Seniors Brandon Clark (Cheshire, Conn.) and Jay Palais (Farmington, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College baseball team were named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Clark anchored the Falcons' lineup during their recent spring break trip, batting a sizzling .423 over the seven-game showcase. The senior catcher collected 10 RBI's, slugged three homeruns and four doubles, and scored nine runs. His dynamic play helped the Falcons go 4-3 over the week-long trip and helped Albertus pick up key wins over Lancaster Bible and Penn State Harrisburg, who received votes in the latest NCBWA/D3Baseball.com Top-25 poll. For the year, Clark batted .324 with four doubles, four homeruns, and 13 RBI's.

Palais was a weapon out of the bullpen for the Falcons over the last week. In three innings of work, spanning three different appearances, Palais posted a 0.00 earned run average and picked up his first save of the season. The senior righty struck out seven and walked only two over the week. The senior started off the week with two strikeouts over an inning in the Falcons' 15-7 win over Lancaster Bible on Monday. He then recorded three more strikeouts against Penn State Harrisburg, who received votes in the latest NCBWA/D3Baseball.com Top-25 poll, to preserve a 10-6 triumph. His final showing was against Penn State-Berks on Thursday, when he earned a save by whiffing two batters in a clean seventh inning.
