WINTHROP, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College baseball program was tabbed to finish eighth in the 2023 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Preseason Coaches Poll, as released by the league office on Monday afternoon. 

Albertus concluded last season with a 10-24 overall record and an 8-10 mark in conference play. The Falcons secured 30 points and eighth place in this year's preseason rankings. 

Johnson & Wales took the top slot in the rankings, finishing with 93 points and six of the 10 possible first-place votes. Saint Joseph's College of Maine was a hair behind JWU with 92 points and the remaining four first-place votes. 

In the middle of the rankings, Anna Maria College, Lasell University, and Elms College finished with 85 points, 66 points, and 63 points, respectively. 

Norwich University ranked sixth after earning 40 points, while Colby-Sawyer College took home a seventh-place showing with 39 points. 

Following the Falcons were Rivier University and Dean College, with 24 points and 18 points, respectively.
