NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College field hockey team lost a 6-0 match to Rivier University on Saturday afternoon at Celentano Field in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The two teams played a scoreless first quarter. However, just 1:26 into the second, Kayla Miles got Rivier on the board taking a pass between defenders from Chloe Sicard who was at the top of the box to make it a 1-0 Raiders lead.
The lead held into halftime, but back-to-back goals from Sydney Spenard and Sicard just 38 seconds apart midway through the third period gave Rivier breathing room and a 3-0 lead. Miles had the assist on Sicard's goal.
Miles scored her second goal from Spenard making it a 4-0 game going into the fourth. Spenard scored two more in the final frame for a hat trick.

- For the second straight game, Helwig set a career-high with 19 saves. In her previous game against Johnson and Wales, she had 18.
- Kayla Clark (Avon, Conn.) had a team-high two shots on goal for the Falcons.
