NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College field hockey team lost an 8-1 non-conference game to the Pride of Springfield College on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Pride opened up their scoring just 4:09 into the game on a goal from Emma McLaughlin to give Springfield the 1-0 lead. Hailey Gaydos followed with two goals of her own, as it was 3-0 at the end of the first.
After assisting on two goals in the first, Kaitlin Bardellini scored in the second for the pride. She also added another goal and assist in the third as the Pride put the game away with three goals in the period.
Gaydos finished with a hat trick after scoring a goal in the third.
Gabriella Dellacroce put the Falcons on the board in the final minute with her third goal of the season.
