Jefferson Lora (Bronx, N.Y.) scored a season-high 20 points as the Albertus Magnus men's basketball team picked up its 20th win of the season with a 92-68 victory over Emmanuel in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play on Saturday.

Ray Askew (Hamden, Conn.) and Darius Watson (New Britain, Conn.) added 25 and 24 points, respectively, as the Falcons shot 48.4-percent from the floor. Askew played just 17 minutes due to foul trouble in the first half but was able to record his 14th game with 20 or more points. Watson's 24-point effort in today's contest marked his 13th game with 20 or more points as well.

Today's win improves the Falcons to 20-1 on the year, while they move to an unblemished 15-0 in GNAC play.  The loss puts the Saints at 8-6 in the league standings, while they fall to 9-12 overall.

Emmanuel took their largest lead of the game in the first five minutes of play as the Saints went up by six points. After tying the game at 19 at the 10:23 mark of the first half, the Falcons went on a 12-4 run to extend their lead to eight before going into the break with a 43-34 lead.

The Falcons shot 53.6-percent from the floor in the first half led by 14 points from Watson.

On the afternoon, Albertus scored 42 points in the paint and 23 points off of 21 Saints' turnovers.

Four players for Emmanuel fouled out in today's contest, forcing the Saints to finish the final 5:29 of the game with only four players on the court due to the lack of subs.

With 2,070 career points, Askew is now just 164 shy of the Albertus Magnus men's basketball record of 2,234 held by Tim Russell '05. The senior, who already holds the Albertus and GNAC record in total rebounds, used today's tally of eight to extend his career total to 1,102.

With their 15th straight win, the Falcons have put themselves into a position to break the program's record of wins in a single season. With four regular season games left on the schedule and a postseason appearance already clinched, the Falcons need just three more wins to tie the program record of 23 victories, which was accomplished in 2009-10.

The Falcons will play their final non-conference game of the regular season on Tuesday night as they travel to Hartford to take on Trinity. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
