Junior Darius Watson (New Britain, Conn.) scored 30 points to lift the Albertus Magnus men's basketball team to a 91-75 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) win over Johnson & Wales (R.I.) on Friday night.

Watson shot 10-of-16 from the floor and 6-of-8 from the free-throw line to lead the Falcons in their fourth-straight GNAC victory. Albertus remains unbeaten in regular-season GNAC play in their last 29 contests, dating back to the 2010-11 season.

With his 30 points, Watson is now 10th all-time on the Falcons' all-time scoring list with 1,081 points as he surpassed Curtis Miller's (2000-04) mark of 1,052.

With tonight's win, the Falcons improve to 9-1 on the year, while the Wildcats fall to 4-7 overall and 3-1 in league action.

Lemar Larsen (New Haven, Conn.) registered a career-high 17 points in tonight's contest as he also pulled down 11 boards for his second double-double of the season. Julian Sanders (Trumbull, Conn.) was the third Falcon to tally double digits as he scored 13 points off the bench, all of which came in the first half.

Jefferson Lora (Bronx, N.Y.) added four blocked shots and seven rebounds in the win.

Both teams shot just under 50% in the first half as the Falcons took a 47-33 lead into the break led by 13 points from both Watson and Sanders. The Falcons came out in the second half and shot 51.6% on 16-of-31 shooting from the field.

Tom Garrick, Jr. led the Wildcats with 18 points on the night, while Quarry Greenway added 17 points, five assists and eight rebounds.

Albertus scored 27 second-chance points, while scoring 12 points off 14 JWU miscues. The Falcons' largest lead of the game came with 7:49 left on the clock as they took a commanding 21-point advantage.

The Falcons return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 8 with a GNAC match-up in Standish, Maine as the Falcons take on Saint Joseph's College of Maine.
