Freshman Eian Davis (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the Falcons with 28 points as the Albertus Magnus men's basketball team cruised to a 94-73 victory over Suffolk in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play on the road in Boston on Saturday.

Albertus improves to 10-1 with the win and remain unbeaten in GNAC play at 6-0. The Rams fall to 5-8 on the year and 2-4 in league action.

Three Falcons combined for 75 of the team's 94 total points as Victor Ljuljdjuraj (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) recorded yet another double-double with 25 points and 17 rebounds and Darius Watson (New Britain, Conn.) added 22 points.

Albertus controlled the contest, especially the first half as the Falcons went into the break with an 12-point lead at 45-33.  Ljuljdjuraj led all players at the break with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Albertus held a 46-39 edge on the glass and scored 48 points in the paint.  The Falcons held a 22-point lead in the second half, their largest of the contest.

Lemar Larsen (Waterbury, Conn.) added 11 points for the Falcons to go along with six rebounds.

The Falcons shot 47.8% from the field but struggled from behind the arc. The Falcons average 8.3 made three-pointers per game but hit just three of their 19 attempts in today's contest.

The Falcons are 15-16 all-time against Suffolk and have won 10 out of the last 11 meetings between the two programs, including earlier this season when Albertus handed the Rams a 99-62 loss in New Haven on Dec. 7.  In Boston, the Falcons are 5-10 all-time against the Rams.

Suffolk was led by Frantz Pinard with a team-high 19 points.  Matt Powers and Sam Nwadike added 15 points each.

Albertus returns to action on Wednesday, Jan. 15 when the Falcons host Anna Maria College in a 7:00 p.m. contest in New Haven.  The Falcons and AMCats have met in the GNAC Tournament Championship the last two years, with Albertus coming out as the victor both times.
