Senior Kyle Wiggins (Milford, Conn.) hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to lift the #16 Albertus Magnus men's basketball team over Johnson & Wales (R.I.) 94-91 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play on Thursday night in the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center in New Haven.

With the final seconds ticking away, the Falcons pushed the ball down the court as Victor Ljuljdjuraj (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) found Wiggins who tallied just his second 3-pointer on the night, giving the Falcons' the league victory.

With the win, Albertus improved to 5-1 on the year and 2-0 in league play, while the Wildcats evened their GNAC record to 1-1 and fell to 4-2 overall. The Falcons have now won 44-straight home games as the streak is the longest in NCAA men's basketball (all divisions).

Ljuljdjuraj led the Falcons with 22 points and 11 rebounds on 9-of-18 shooting from the floor.

Tavon Sledge (Spring Valley, N.Y.) added 13 points, while Eian Davis (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and James Jennings (Bridgeport, Conn.) tallied 17 and 16 points, respectively. Wiggins, who played just eight minutes in the contest, shot 2-of-3 from the floor as both of his made field goal attempts were from behind the arc.

Albertus shot 46.7% from the field and hit eight of their 14 three-point field goals for a 57.1% outing from behind the arc.

The score was tied over 10 times in tonight's contest and there were over 15 lead changes in the league thriller.

The score was close throughout the entire game as the Falcons took a 46-42 lead at intermission. Ljuljdjuraj had just eight points in the first half as Albertus 48.6% from the field.

After back-and-forth play in the final minutes, the Falcons used a three-point field goal to cap the GNAC thriller.

Robert Lewis led all scorers with 25 points for the Wildcats. He was one of four Wildcats to score in double figures.

Albertus heads to Boston on Saturday to take on the Rams of Suffolk University in a 3:00 p.m. league match-up.  JWU will host Lasell on Saturday in a 1:00 p.m. contest.
