New Haven, Conn. – A late rally fell short for the Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team on Thursday night in a 94-81 setback versus Lasell in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at The Nest inside the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center.

Two minutes later, Lasell would come charging back to tie the game and take a three-point edge at 14-11 thanks to back-to-back three-pointers from Arsenault. The two squads traded buckets for the next 10 minutes as a free throw from freshman forward Shonteay Lovell (Brooklyn, N.Y.) gave the hosts a one-point lead at 32-31. The visitors closed the opening half on a 9-6 run to take a 40-38 advantage into the break.

During the second half, Albertus Magnus tied the contest with 18:51 left in regulation courtesy of lay up from senior wing Marc Wilson (Jersey City, N.J.). From there, the Lasers would take the lead on the ensuing possession and never relinquish it.

Wilson led a balanced attack for Albertus Magnus and was one of five Falcons to register double figures. The 6-3 guard scored a team-best 15 points, while Walters recorded his second straight double-double courtesy of a 14 point, 11 rebound performance.
