Winthrop, Mass. - For the second straight week, senior forward Jaqhawn Walters (Hartford, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Corvias Player of the Week, announced by the league on Monday afternoon.

Walters averaged 28.0 points and 11.5 rebounds while shooting 65.0% (26-40 FG) in a pair of victories last week. He poured in 31 points on 14-of-22 shooting with 14 boards in an 85-81 victory over defending national champion Babson. The reigning GNAC Player of the Year capped the week with 25 points (12-18 FG) and nine rebounds in an 88-58 GNAC opening win over Regis.

The men's basketball team is on the road this week against Keene State (12/5), Mitchell (12/7) and Norwich (12/9).
