New Haven, Conn. – Senior Jaqhawn Walters(Hartford, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team received year-end honors from D3Hoops.com announced last Friday, March 17th. The Falcons' forward was named to the 2018 All-American Second Team for the second consecutive year.

Last week, the senior forward also earned a spot on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division III All-District First Team and landed on the Bevo Francis Top 25 Watch List. Walters was also selected to the West Roster for the 2018 NABC Reese's Division III College All-Star Team.

Walters was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Year for the second straight year and earned a spot on the GNAC All-Conference First Team. He was first among GNAC leaders in both scoring and rebounding, averaging 26.5 points and 15.0 boards per game. He was also efficient from the floor, ranking sixth in the league in shooting at 54.8 percent.
