WINTHROP, Mass. - For the second time this season, graduate forward Terry Dawkins (Bronx, N.Y.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week after recording a stellar performance for the Falcons last week in league play.

Dawkins led the Falcons last week in GNAC play with 21.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals as the team posted a 2-0 record. The grad forward went 14-for-19 (73.7%) from the field and 15-for-17 (88.2%) from the FT line. Dawkins started the week by netting his ninth double-double of the season following a 16-point, 12-rebound performance in the Falcons' 88-74 win over Elms College. He then racked up a team-leading 27 points, nine rebounds, three steals, and an assist to lead Albertus to a thrilling 89-84 home win over Lasell University. 

The Falcons now look ahead to the GNAC Tournament, slated to begin on Tuesday, Feb. 21st. The Falcons clinched the number two seed in the South Division and will open tournament play with a 7:30 PM home battle against the fourth seed of the North Division Colby-Sawyer College.
