NEW HAVEN, Conn. - David Aquavia (Oakville, Conn.) from the Albertus Magnus College men's golf team was named to the 2023 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Teams on Tuesday afternoon, selected by College Sports Communicators, formerly CoSIDA. 

2022-23 Academic All-District Men's At-Large Teams

The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 21 (men) and June 22 (women). 

Aquavia appeared in all eight matches for the Falcons as a senior and shot his best round at home in a tri-match against Mitchell and Eastern Nazarene with a 78. in the GNAC Championship, he shot an opening-day 87 followed by a second-day 78 which tied his best for the year. He was a model of consistency for the team with an average round of 80.7 in 2022. Aquavia held a 3.94 cumulative grade-point average while studying management.
