Mike Choiniere (Bethany, Conn.) has been selected for the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) 2015 East-West Senior All-Star game, which is scheduled to take play on Friday, May 29 on the campus of Springfield College at 7:00 p.m.

Senior players, or those in their final year of eligibility, were nominated for this contest by their head coaches, while teams were selected based on their career accomplishments.

This annual game gives the seniors one last opportunity to represent their school as well as be honored for their successful careers.

Players from 31 different schools across 11 conferences have been selected for this year's NEILA East-West game.

Choiniere was ranked in the top of Division III men's lacrosse in scoring this season.  He posted 75 points on 52 goals and 23 assists this past season and was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference First Team.

In 2014, the college's first season fielding men's lacrosse, Choiniere was tagged as a GNAC Second Team member after finishing second in the league in assists during the regular season.  He was also ranked in the top-25 in 2014 in the nation with 3.08 goals per game and 2.42 assists per game.

Most recently, he was selected to the 2014-15 CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District At-Large Team for Division III District 2.
