Men’s Lacrosse Drops Road Bout Versus Dean

FRANKLIN, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team suffered a 13-9 road loss to Dean College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Saturday, April 24, in Franklin, Mass.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bulldogs came out on fire on their home turf, going ahead 7-1 after the first quarter. Jon Olson (Bellmore, N.Y.) tallied the Falcons' lone goal of the first at the 6:11 mark.

Both teams tallied two goals in the second quarter to send the game into halftime, with the Bulldogs ahead by a score of 9-3. Both Kader Price (Walden, N.Y.) and Charles Stewart (Stratford, Conn.) found the back of the net for the Falcons. Olson assisted on both of Albertus' second-quarter goals.

After the Bulldogs netted the first three goals of the third quarter, the Falcons answered with back-to-back scores to draw their deficit to 12-5. Stewart and Cody Walczak (Higganun, Conn.) both recorded goals in the third, with Stewart's coming off an assist from Jayme Toro (East Haven, Conn.).

Albertus' offense came alive in the fourth quarter, as the visitors tallied four of the five goals in the frame. Walczak found the back of the net twice, while Price and Stewart each scored once. Mykel Stinson (Bridgeport, Conn.) assisted on three of the four goals.

However, the four-goal frame for the Falcons proved not to be enough, as the host Bulldogs held on to secure a 13-9 GNAC victory.
