New Haven, CT - Junior forward Jamal Howard (West Haven, CT/West Haven) was named Player of the week by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) this week after an incredible two game performance in which he led the Falcons to a 2-0 week with wins over Westfield State University and Johnson & Wales University.  Howard scored four goals including both game winners in a perfect week for the Falcons.

This award marks the first time Howard has been honored by the GNAC this season.  Howard is currently first on the team in goals (8), points (18), and is tied for second in assists (2).  Albertus is 9-2 overall including 3-1 in GNAC play.  The Falcons are in second place with mostly GNAC contests remaining.

Albertus looks to eclipse the 10 win plateau when they travel to Manhattanville College on Wednesday for a 4:00pm kick-off.
