The Albertus Magnus men's soccer team unveiled its 2012 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship banner along with its 2012 NCAA Tournament banner on Monday, Jan. 28 during halftime of the Falcons' men's basketball contest.

On November 3, 2012, the Falcons battled Norwich University to a scoreless draw after regulation and two overtime periods.  After forcing the game into a shootout, a diving save by Falcon goalkeeper Donato Piroscafo (Naugatuck, Conn.) secured the Falcons' 6-5 shootout victory as Albertus earned its second GNAC Tournament title and its first in over 10 years.

The Falcons finished the year 15-4-3 after making the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.
