Senior Donato Piroscafo (Naugatuck, Conn.) registered seven saves on Saturday as the Albertus Magnus men's soccer team battled Mount Ida to a 1-1 draw in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play.

A pair of first-half penalty kicks was all the scoring in today's contest.

Senior Ross Suleski (Amesbury, Mass.) scored for the Falcons as he connected in the 34th minute for his third goal of the season after a take-down just inside of the box which resulted in the penalty kick attempt.

Ten minutes later, Mount Ida's Carlos Rojas tied the game with a penalty kick of his own as it was his first goal of the season. The penalty kick was awarded to the Mustangs after a Falcon defender played the ball off his hand inside of the box.

The draw puts the Mustangs' record even as the move to 5-5-2 on the year and 2-2-1 in GNAC play.  For the Falcons, the tie moves them to 4-7-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the league standings.

Mount Ida held a 26-15 advantage in shots and edged the Falcons in corner kicks at 11-9. The Mustangs' Joe Casey tallied four saves in net for the host team.

Suleski led the Falcons with three shots on goal.

Albertus returns to action on Monday with a 5:00 p.m. contest at Suffolk.
