Winthrop, Mass. - Freshman Jared Brennan (North Haven, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalkeeper of the Week as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Brennan opened his collegiate career with back-to-back shutout wins versus UMaine-Farmington and Nichols College. Brennan was tremendous in a 3-0 win over the UMaine-Farmington, making six saves, before closing out the week with a three-save performance in a 1-0 win over Nichols.
Albertus returns to action on Wednesday, September 4th as the Falcons battle Dean College in a non-conference showdown at Celentano Field. Game time is set for 7:30 PM.
