Men’s Tennis Picked Fourth in the South Division in the GNAC Preseason Poll

Winthrop, Mass. – The Albertus Magnus College men's tennis team was picked to finish fourth in the South Division in the 2017 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Preseason Poll. The poll, which was released on Thursday afternoon, is voted on by the league's seven head coaches.

The Falcons, who are coming off a record of 7-4 last year, earned eight points to finish seven points behind third-place Rutgers-Newark. Rutgers-Camden finished second on the South side with 19 points while Ramapo received all seven first-place votes to land at the top spot in the South Division with 28 points.

Johnson and Wales received seven first-place votes and 21 points to take the top spot in the GNAC North Division poll. Behind Johnson & Wales was Norwich, which finished seven-points back of the Wildcats to claim second. Suffolk finished third with seven points to round out the North side.
