The Albertus Magnus men's cross country team took third place at Mitchell College on Friday evening at the 2012 Mitchell Invitational.
Mitchell's Drew Castagna ran for the victory in the 6,760-meter race and finished with a time of 25:47.7. Post University took first over the Mariners, despite the individual victory for Castagna. Post had five runners place in the top-seven to clinch the team title.
Post took away 23 points on the evening, while Mitchell took second with 39. Albertus finished in third with 70.
John Snow led the Falcons with a fourth-place finish as he finished in 27:24.2. Glenn Johnson was the Falcons' second finisher in 17th place, while Castel Jean-Francois took 19th.
Michael Arbuthnot and Ben Spilka also ran for the Falcons.
