The Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department would like to announce the appointment of Ed Emielita to the position of Head Softball Coach effective immediately.  He has been an assistant coach for the past five seasons at Sacred Heart Academy in nearby Hamden, CT.  Coach Emielita has served as Head Coach of the CT Raiders Travel AAU program for the past three seasons.  He also served as Head Coach of the CT Hornets Travel AAU program from 2005-2007.  Coach Emielita has been an ASA umpire for the past 30 years as well as President of East Haven Youth Football.
