The Albertus Magnus softball team improved to 2-0 on the year as the Falcons edged Daniel Webster 8-6 in non-conference play down in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Four Falcons registered two-hit performances led by sophomore Brittney Urciouli (Newington, Conn.) with two runs scored and one stolen base.

Freshman Isabel Lopez (West Haven, Conn.) went 2-for-4 for the Falcons with one triple and one run scored, while Veronica Hribko (East Haven, Conn.) added two hits and a run scored as well.

Senior Danielle Figueroa (Bridgeport, Conn.) also went 2-for-4 with one run scored and an RBI.
