New Haven, CT - The Falcons used a balanced scoring attack with four players in double figures as they cruised to an 83-65 win over Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponent Lasell College on Monday afternoon.  Albertus led by as much as 24 points and double figures the majority of the contest.

Freshman guard Lianna Carrero (Hamden, CT/Hamden) had a team high 21 points, six rebounds, and five assists with freshman guard Lindsay Karle (Wallingford, CT/Lyman Hall) adding 19 points including 4-7 from beyond the arc.  Senior forward Bianca Brown (West Haven, CT/Career) scored 16 points, had a game high 10 rebounds, and two blocks for the Falcons. Sophomore guard Shanilya Bush (New Haven, CT/Wilbur Cross) added 10 points and a game high seven assists.

Lasell College was led by an outstanding performance from freshman guard Kayla Vincelette (Westport, MA/Westport) as she scored a game high 26 points on 10-16 shooting including four steals.

Albertus snaps a three game losing streak and improves to 6-7, 1-3 GNAC while Lasell drops to 1-13, 0-4 GNAC.

The Falcons return to action on Thursday when they travel to St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) for a 7:30 tip-off.
