Freshman Olivia Bolden (South Windsor, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus women's basketball team has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player and Rookie of the Week. 

Bolden earns the Rookie of the Week honors for the fourth time this season and the Player of the Week honors for the first time in her career.

In a 3-0 week, Bolden averaged 24.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per contest, while shooting 54.9% (28-of-51) from the floor.  She tied her career-high with 30 points on 12-of-20 shooting in the Falcons' 71-65 win on Saturday at Mount Ida.

In a Monday afternoon 81-56 win over Simmons last week, Bolden had 23 points, 15 rebounds and three assists.  She then registered 20 points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots in a 78-52 win over Mt. St. Mary (N.Y.) on Wednesday in New Haven.
