Freshman Olivia Bolden (South Windsor, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus women's basketball team has been named the Rookie of the Week by the ECAC after earning Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week honors for the sixth time this season.

This accolade marks her third ECAC honor this season.

On the week, Bolden led the Falcons by averaging 20 points and seven rebounds per game, while shooting 62.5% from the floor. The freshman hit 15 of her 24 total shot attempts in a pair of games over the course of the week.

In a non-conference outing at Coast Guard, she scored 21 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to go along with two steals before finishing the regular season at Anna Maria college with a 19-point effort.

Bolden and the Falcons will face top-seeded Emmanuel College on Tuesday night in the GNAC Tournament Quarterfinal round. The Falcons are 11-14 on the year and are 1-2 all-time against Emmanuel when playing the Saints in the GNAC postseason tournament.
