Albertus Magnus women's basketball player Olivia Bolden (South Windsor, Conn.) has been named the 2015 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Year as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Bolden led the Falcons with 18.1 points and 7.8 rebounds per game during her freshman campaign as she also shot 45% from the floor.
The freshman earned a spot on the GNAC All-Conference Second Team as well.
She was fourth among GNAC leaders in scoring with her 18.1 points per game and was tagged as the GNAC Rookie of the Week an impressive six times.
Additionally, sophomore Megan Thornton (Worcester, Mass.) was named to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
