NEW HAVEN Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College men's and women's basketball teams and the United Way of Greater New Haven are partnering together for the first time to promote the Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) campaign.
The N2N campaign started on February 7th and will run through the end of the month. N2N is a community effort to raise and quickly distribute funds to help address hunger and homelessness in Greater New Haven.
Albertus Magnus will host a Neighbor to Neighbor Game on Saturday, February 18th when the Falcons host a double-header against Mount Ida. Game times on Saturday afternoon are slated for 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Upon entering the game, fans will be receiving a ticket, along with their program, on how to make a donation to the N2N campaign as well as have the opportunity to win a dinner for two at a local New Haven restaurant.

Over the past eight years, Neighbor to Neighbor has invested $3.5 million in our region to help address hunger and homelessness. These dollars have resulted in:
- 1,367,212 additional meals served to children and adults
- 5,284 people receiving emergency shelter or housing services to prevent homelessness
- 992 people receiving emergency heating, medical, and other assistance
- More than 20,000 people received services to help them avert or pull-out of a crisis

Local Colleges, Universities, and Companies United For N2N
United Way is also partnering with Quinnipiac University, Southern Connecticut State University, University of New Haven, and Yale University to promote the N2N Text to Give campaign at local sporting events. United Way will be sharing N2N Text to Give information at basketball and ice hockey games throughout the month of February. Local companies are also sharing the N2N Text to Give information with their employees throughout the month.
