WINTHROP, Mass. – Albertus Magnus College junior women's basketball player Olivia Bolden (South Windsor, Conn.) was tabbed as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week on Monday afternoon as announced by the league office.
In a 2-0 week, the forward averaged 20.0 points, 14.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks while shooting an impressive 54.8% (17-31 FG) from the field. She poured in 16 points and added 12 rebounds and three assists in a win over St. Joseph before compiling 24 points, 17 rebounds and three blocks in a 81-66 victory over Mount Ida. She also finished the week with back-to-back double-doubles and wraps up the regular season with 19.
The Falcons have earned the #4 seed in the GNAC South Division and will travel to North #1 Saint Joseph's Maine on Tuesday, February 21st for a quarterfinal matchup.
