WINTHROP, Mass. - Albertus Magnus College women's basketball standout Jakara Murray-Leach (Norwalk, Conn.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week for the second week in a row, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Murray-Leach picked up her first double-double of the season with a 20-point, 13-rebound performance in the Falcons' 73-61 win at Western New England. Along with her double-double, she chimed in for two assists, two steals, and two blocks over 36 minutes of play. The sophomore guard also went 8-for-17 (47.1%) from the field and 4-for-6 (66.7%) from the free throw line.

The Falcons return to the court on Tuesday, November 29th, for a home clash with the Falcons of Fisher College. Tip-off is set for 7 PM inside the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center.
