HARTFORD, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's basketball team lost a 72-51 game to Trinity College on Friday evening in a non-conference road game.

Diamond White (Hamden, Conn.) led all Falcons with 13 points. Natasha Rivera (Ansonia, Conn.) scored 12, and Caitlyn Scott (White Plains, N.Y.), 11.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Bantams scored the first eight points of the game before a layup from Rivera put the Falcons on the board. Albertus would score just one more time as Trinity took a 26-4 lead after the first quarter
• Trinity upped their lead to 32-4 early in the second quarter. The Falcons were able to match the Bantams in the second quarter as both teams had 17 points in the quarter.
• Jakara Murray-Leach (Norwalk, Conn.), Scott, and Rivera each had four points in the second as Trinity took a 43-21 at the half.
• The Bantams extended their lead to 62-36 after the third, holding the Falcons to just ten points.
• Trinity led by as much as 66-36 until the Falcons made their best run of the evening, going on a 15-2 run to cut their deficit to 17 points. Albertus hit four straight threes during the run as White hit two as well as one from Elizabeth Bruno (Providence, R.I.) and Sarah Evangelista (West Haven, Conn).
