NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Caitlyn Scott (White Plains, N.Y.) of the Albertus Magnus women's basketball team was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) player of the week for her performance during the week of Januray 15-21. 

In a 2-0 week for the Falcons, Scott averaged 28 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

On Tuesday, January 16, Scott had 20 points, five rebounds, and six assists in a 67-65 home win over Johnson & Wales.

Scott helped erase a nine-point fourth quarter deficit in a 84-72 conference win over Rivier on January 20. She finished the game with 36 points, seven rebounds, and two assists and jumped to ninth place on the all-time scoring list with 1,301 career points.

This is the second time this season Scott has been named GNAC Player of the Week.

The Falcons return to action on Wednesday on the road at Elms at 5 p.m.
