NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Jakara Murray-Leach (Norwalk, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's basketball team was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll for her performance between January 29-Feb. 4.

In a 1-1 week for the Falcons, Murray-Leach averaged 15 points, 11 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game.

In a 59-55 GNAC win at Emmanuel on January 30, Murray-Leach had a double-double with 18 points, 12 rebounds and went 3-for-6 from three.

Against the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) in a 78-65 GNAC loss, Murray-Leach notched her second double-double of the week, scoring 12 points to go with 10 rebounds.

This season, Murray-Leach is averaging 17.4 points and 8.8 rebounds. She also has 10 double-doubles on the season.

It is the fifth time this season Murray-Leach has been named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll. She has also been named GNAC Player of the Week once this season.

The Falcons return to action on Wednesday with a home conference game against Anna Maria in The Nest at 5:30 p.m.
