The Albertus Magnus women's lacrosse team won the 2014 Albertus Magnus College Athletics Community Service Challenge by reaching 262% of their goal with a variety of community service projects.

The women's lacrosse program volunteered with many events such as the Keefe Center Kids Carnival and the Albertus Magnus College St. Albert Week Campus Clean-Up.  Additionally, the Falcons helped collect food items along with clothing items for Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen (DESK) in New Haven.

Members of the women's lacrosse team accounted for 126 total hours, which were 78 hours over their team goal.

Each athletic team's goal was calculated as the number of team members multiplied by three as each student-athlete was encouraged to register three hours each.  The highest percentage of hours would determine the winning team.

As a whole, the Albertus Magnus Athletic Department accounted for 624 hours of community service as women's lacrosse, men's lacrosse (138 hours/184%), and softball (83 hours/126%) recorded the highest percentage of participation this fall.
