The Albertus Magnus College Department of Athletics released its 2015 women's lacrosse schedule on Friday morning as the Falcons are slated to play 16 contests in the upcoming season.

After its first-ever varsity season in 2014, the Falcons finished with an overall record of 2-10 with wins over Bay Path College and Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponent Anna Maria.

Under the leadership of second-year head coach Joe Caruso, the Falcons will open the year with four-straight home contests including their GNAC opener on Saturday, March 7 against Norwich University.

After two road games, at Bay Path (March 16) and Mount Ida (March 18), the Falcons return home for three-straight contests in New Haven, which include match-ups with Rivier, Elms and Simmons College.

Four-straight road games fill the week of March 28 through April 4 before the Falcons return to New Haven to host the 2014 defending GNAC Champion Emmanuel College Saints on April 11 in a 12:00 p.m. contest.  The Falcons finish the regular season on April 18 with a 1:00 p.m. GNAC contest against Lasell College in New Haven.

The GNAC Tournament will kick off on Wednesday, April 22 and will go through Sunday, April 26.  The top eight teams of the nine total squads in the conference make the postseason tournament.
