Last Week: The Albertus Magnus College women's lacrosse team went 0-2 last week, falling at home in non-conference action to Daniel Webster and Mitchell. Albertus Magnus enters the week with an 0-3 record. Against the Eagles, senior midfielder Miranda Jassil paced the Albertus Magnus attack with three goals, while freshman Aida Sarr and junior Carla Tapia both chipped in one marker apiece for the Falcons. Versus the Mariners, Sarr scored a career-high four goals and added an assist in a losing effort for the Falcons. On the week, freshman goalkeeper Lexie Fenn made 23 saves.

This Week: The Falcons travel to play at Emmanuel in their Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opener on Tuesday before hosting Saint Joseph's (Maine) on Saturday in league action.

Scouting the Monks: Saint Joseph's (Maine) enters the week riding a six-game winning streak. During the run, five of the team's wins have come at home. Before facing the Falcons, SJC squares off with in-state rival Bowdoin on Wednesday night. The Monks have won 95 draw controls this season, while their opponents have registered just 48. In net, Michelle Cunha is 6-1 with a 5.38 goals-against average, 38 saves and a .500 save percentage. Offensively, Elyse Caiazzo leads the team in goals (29), points (34) and ground balls (33). Kat Godbois has added 16 markers and a team-leading 17 assists this season to go along with 32 ground balls and 17 draw controls.
