Women's Lacrosse Hopes to Turn a New Page in the 2024 Campaign

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Former Falcon midfielder Kaitlin D'Aostino returns to The Nest in her first year as the head coach for the Albertus Magnus College women's lacrosse team and opens the Spring campaign at home on Celentano Field on Sunday against Wells Express at noon.

Albertus hits the road for back-to-back road games on March 2 and 9 at non-conference opponents Centenary (N.J.) and Rhode Island College, respectively. The team returns home for another non-conference matchup against Old Westbury on March 13 before traveling to Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) foe Anna Maria College on March 16. The Falcons defeated the AMCATS at home last season, 16-12, and lead Anna Maria with a 3-1-0 all-time record.

Albertus faces its last out-of-conference opponent on March 19 at Purchase College before embarking on a 10-game GNAC stretch, initiated by a home contest against Regis (Mass.) on March 23. On March 26, the Falcons face Mitchell College for a rematch — after defeating them, 18-8, during the 2023 season — on the road in New London, Conn. Albertus Magnus hosts back-to-back home contests starting with in-state rival University of Saint Joseph's (Conn.) on March 30, followed by a game against Dean College on April 2.

The Falcons head on a three-game road trip at New England College, Emmanual College (Mass.) and Norwich University on April 6, 9, and 13, respectively, before returning home to welcome Johnson & Wales University on April 16. Women's lacrosse closes out the season at Lasell University on April 20 and faces Elms College at home on April 23 for the final contest of the 2024 season.
