NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Samantha Helwig (Northford, Conn.) scored twice, but the Albertus Magnus women's lacrosse team lost a 16-4 game to Centenary on Saturday afternoon.
Amber DeJonge (Grand Rapids, Mich.) added a goal, as did Rosie Rivera (New Haven, Conn.).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Centenary got on the board 31 seconds into the game on a goal from Trista Hough, and led 1-0 until Helwig scored her first goal on a free-position shot.
- From there, Centenary scored the final five goals of the quarter, three from Nora Dornich to take a 6-1 lead. The Cyclones kept the scoring going in the second, scoring five times, three from Hough, to take an 11-1 lead into the half.
- The Cyclones led 14-1 in the fourth until Helwig scored her second of the game. Rivera scored her first career goal on a pass from DeJonge at the 4:55 mark. DeJonge then scored her second of the season with five seconds remaining.
