New Haven, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team has earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2016-17 academic year. This is the fifth-straight year that the Falcons have earned this prestigious honor.

The Falcons are one out of 825 soccer teams, both men and women, with a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. There were 286 men's teams and 539 women's teams that earned the honor, while 202 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.

The women's soccer team (3-5-1, 2-4-1) returns to action this Saturday, Oct. 7th against Regis (Mass.). Kick-off is set for 12 p.m. at Regis Stadium in Weston, Mass.
