WINTHROP, Mass. – Albertus Magnus College women's soccer standout Katherine Raposo (Warwick R.I.) earned her third career Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week award on Monday afternoon.
Raposo racked up a whopping nine points on four goals and one assist in two games last week. The Warwick, R.I., native began the week with one goal and one assist against Manhattanville College on Wednesday, Sept. 8, at Celentano Field. She backed that performance up with her second career hat trick in a dominant 7-2 Falcons' win over Rivier University on Saturday, Sept. 11, to level AMC's GNAC record at 1-1. Raposo paces Albertus with 10 points on four goals and two assists through the first four games of the season.
The Falcons enter this week's action with a 2-2 overall record. Albertus has a week-long break before heading to Regis (Mass.) College on Saturday, Sept. 18, for a 12 p.m. road showdown.
