BOSTON, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team blanked the Sharks of Simmons University on Saturday afternoon in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference clash, winning the match by a final score of 1-0.
Erina Ismaili (Middlebury, Conn.) scored the lone goal for the Falcons. Haley Andrews (Prospect, Conn.) led the Falcons in shots, as the fifth-year senior ripped off a season-high seven shots.
In net, Amy Stevens (Lincoln, R.I.) went a perfect 3-for-3 in saves to preserve the one-goal shutout for the blue-and-white.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ismaili got the Falcons on the board quickly, as the junior forward took control of the ball and sped up the field uncontested before firing a shot past Sharks goalkeeper Marita Nothacker for the first score just 4:53 into regulation.
- The Falcons continued to press their advantage, firing off an additional five shots over the next 10 minutes.
- The teams traded shots before the Falcons regained possession of the ball and finished off the half by out-shooting the Sharks 6-0 while adding a pair of corner kicks to their stat sheet.
