HOW IT HAPPENED
In an even match throughout the first half, the Blazers were finally able to break the scoreless tie in the 36th minute on a goal from Emily Basua. Less than five minutes into the second half, the Blazers once again took a lead as Basua scored again. This time, Kelly Malheiro's corner kick that was tailing towards the net was stopped by Albertus goalkeeper Amy Stevens (Lincoln, R.I.), however Basua tapped it in to make it a 2-1 game.
With the match in the balance for the Falcons with under ten minutes remaining is was once again Ismaili from approximately the same distance as her first goal, striking another free kick into the net past Elms goalkeeper Angela Picheo, tying the game at 2-2 in the 82nd minute.
