HOW IT HAPPENED
The Raiders found the early goal in just the third minute of play. Kaylee Magoon sent in a lofty diagonal ball to reach the foot of Olivia Maxwell making a run into the Falcons' penalty box. She settled the ball, cut between her defenders and sent a shot to the far post to score.

Goalkeeper Amy Stevens (Lincoln, R.I.) came up with a show stopping save in the 11th minute when she came out on a close-range shot by Magoon to keep the Falcons within one.

Rivier continued to push, eventually drawing a foul in the Albertus penalty box in the 13th minute. Emily Lizotte stepped up to take the penalty kick and slotted one left to go up 2-0.

The Falcons came out with high energy in the second half, rattling off four shots in the first 10 minutes compared to the Raiders one shot.

The tide shifted back in Rivier's favor in the 57th minute as Jordan Butters played a quick give-and-go pass with Samantha Franks, then drove into the Falcons' penalty box. She beat her defender and ripped a shot past Stevens, 3-0.

Shortly after, the Rivier offense was able to capitalize again in the 58th minute as Jillian Arigo put in the individual effort when she collected a ball at the top of the Falcons' penalty box and drove inside to shoot left and score.

The Albertus team compiled 18 shots in the second half, but were unable to find the back of the net to keep its postseason run alive.
