WORCESTER, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College women's swimming team currently sits in seventh place and the men's swimming team is currently in sixth place after the second day of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Swimming and Diving Championships at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

The women's team has 154.5 points, a half point ahead of eighth place Colby-Sawyer.

Norwich leads the women's event with 646.5 points, followed by Simmons (559) and Regis (354.5) to round out the top three.

Maria Estrada (Guatemala City, Guatemala) earned the Falcons 15 points after a fourth place finish in the 100-yard individual medley with a time of 1:01.26. She also finished seventh in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:07.95, earning 12 points. 

The 200-yard relay team of Estrada, Chloe, Oliver, Sophie Olander and Olivia Rocheleau finished in seventh place with a time of 1:54 for 24 points. Oliver, Olander Rocheleau and Nicole Irizarry finished sixth in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 9:49.39.

Norwich leads the men's team standings with 370 points, followed by Regis with 137 and Colby-Sawyer with 27 to round out the top three.

On the men's side, Malachi Blatchley finished in seventh in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 58.05, earning two points. He also earned a point in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing eighth with a time of 25.33 seconds.
