Three Women's Swimmers Named To CSC All-District Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Camila Gordillo (Naugatuck, Conn.), Sophie Olander (Amston, Conn.) and Chloe Oliver (Milford, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's swimming and diving team were all named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2023-24 Academic All-District Team on Tuesday.

It was the second time Oliver was named to the team and the first time for both Gordillo and Olander.

Olander is pursuing a degree in business management. Oliver is a physical education major and Gordillo is majoring in criminal justice..

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming & Diving  teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool  and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's swimming & diving  honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

To be an Academic All-District honoree, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore at their institution and have spent at least one full year at that particular school, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above, and have played at least 50 percent of their team's contests as a starter or important reserve.
