Chestnut Hill, MA - The Albertus Magnus College Women's Tennis Team defeated Great Northeast Athletic Conference opponent Pine Manor 8-1.  Freshman Deanna Gaudio (New Haven, CT) won her singles match 6-2, 6-1.  Gaudio and sophomore Chantal Simmons (East Harlem, NY) won the #1 doubles match with an 8-1 victory.  Freshman Monette Isaac (Bronx, NY) won a hardfought match 8-6 that was called due to darkness.  The #2 doubles team of freshman Sandybell Anorga (Stamford, CT) and Meteka Joseph (Mount Vernon, NY) also battled thier way to an 8-6 victory in a lengthy doubles match.  The Lady Falcons improve to 1-5, 1-2  GNAC while Pine Manor College drops to 0-4, 0-2 GNAC on the season.  Albertus will host GNAC opponent Simmons College on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
