The Suffolk University women's tennis team defeated Albertus Magnus 9-0 on Saturday afternoon in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference match-up in New Haven, Conn.
The Rams swept doubles' action, winning all three matches 8-0. In singles' play, Albertus' Malika Grant battled to a 6-1, 6-0 loss to Suffolk's Andrianna Garrett as she was the only Falcon to win a set throughout the day.
Other than Grant's play in No. 4 singles, Suffolk picked up shutout victories in all the other singles' matches, posting 6-0 set-wins.
The Falcons host St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn on Sunday, Oct. 16 for a non-conference match-up. That contest is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
