The Albertus Magnus women's tennis team fell to the College of New Rochelle 5-4 in its final match of the 2011 season.

Malika Grant and Gina D'Agostino led the Falcons for the second-straight match as both won their respective singles' matches and combined to win No. 3 doubles.

Grant defeated Jamilla Smith 10-2 in No. 5 singles, while D'Agostino downed Kendra Michel 10-2 in no. 6 singles. With the win, Grant finishes the year 4-5 in singles' play for the Falcons.

In doubles play, D'Agostino and Grant defeated Smith and Michel 8-2 as they improved to 2-0 when playing together in doubles' action. In No. 1 doubles, Sandybell Anorga and Na'Tasha Mesidor downed Delnisha Baker and Nancy Varughese 8-2.

New Rochelle won the top-three single matches with scores of 10-4, while CNR also took No. 4 singles with a 10-2 win.
