The Albertus Magnus women's tennis team fell to Emmanuel College 9-0 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play on Saturday afternoon in New Haven.

Chantal Simmons stole a point from Nicole Soucy in No. 5 singles but the rest of the Saints shutout the Falcons in pairs of 6-0 sets in singles' competition.

In doubles' play, Emmanuel's Amanda Woznicki and Jenny Konecnik defeated Na'Tasha Mesidor and Sandybell Anorga 8-0 in the No. 1 position. Sharinna Luna and Bianca Agron also fell in doubles' play with an 8-0 score, while Brittany Rothstein and Rachel Smith defeated Albertus' Renita Moore and Meteka Joseph by a score of 8-1.

The Falcons (1-4) will host Simmons College on Tuesday afternoon in a 3:30 p.m. match-up.
